Why would Lucifer think he could be like God and get away with it? What did he say that persuaded 1/3 of the heavenly hosts to fall with him?
Could it have been, God is so patient and kind he would never do anything to cause me pain? Is it a what would Jesus do moment? I doubt that before the fallen angels being cast out of heaven that any of them had ever been punished.
So, God without justice, God without hell, is a false god, a lie from the father of lies, Lucifer.
